Evaluating My Priorities

Jordan Dolbin

With football season just underway and all my favorite TV shows starting back up, I am beginning to realize how spoiled I was at home. Back at home I had DVR so I was able to record TV shows and watch them on my own time. Now, living in the apartments, 1500 miles away from home, I no longer have that luxury. I am forced to watch TV shows at their regularly scheduled time or pray they show reruns. Worst of all there are conflicts. Do I watch Monday Night Football or the season premier of Gossip Girl?! The new NCIS or the Biggest Loser?! So many TV shows, so little time…

Ok, so I do realize this “problem” is probably a good thing, but still, a girl should never have to go through this. Now I am going to be forced to occupy my idle time with homework or reading or something, rather than catching up on my TV shows. Maybe I can now avoid procrastinating on EVERYTHING or who knows, I may even learn a thing or two. I guess this whole situation might be a blessing in disguise and I’m sure my parents aren’t too upset about the situation.
